To our lovely dance community...UPDATE RE COVID-19 ❤️

We are sad to announce that following the governments updated advice today “avoid social contact and non essential travel” Verve have decided to suspend all classes and events.

We hope to re-open as soon as safely possible and will keep you all updated on future events regularly following further advice via our page, email and website.

We would be grateful if you could please pass this message on to any dance friends that do not have email/social media so they know what’s happening.

Until we are safely able to dance again, we wish you all well and do take care. Please feel free to stay in touch with friends via Verve’s Facebook Page & Jo’s Page and share kind words.

WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER, Miss you already ❤️

THE VENUE
SOCIAL DANCING

Verve dance nights give you a fabulous night, out with top class tunes in a fun and friendly atmosphere, where you can dance the night away whilst meeting new friends.

Based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, we have an ideal venue with a huge dance floor and ample parking right outside and Verve's famous, friendly atmosphere.

Our three Modern Jive dance classes run every Wednesday evening, with two hours of social dancing afterwards. We welcome everyone, whether you've danced before or not.

This is the home of Verve, a dance company formed with you in mind, whether you have danced before or not.

When Michel Ange Lau invented LeRoc (Modern Jive) back in the late 1970s, little did he know that it would end up being one of the most popular forms of partner dance in the new millennium.

At Verve, we have developed his original idea to incorporate other dance styles into the Modern Jive dance such as Salsa, West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop to provide a form of Modern Jive with fresh funky modern moves that rock.

Modern Jive is a stylish partner dance that is so easy to learn that it's perfect for people with 'two left feet' and is so versatile that it can be danced to virtually any music that you hear on the radio or in clubs.

If you want to look impressive on the dance floor, make friends, get fit and have lots of fun, we suggest you give Verve a go!
